Barbers Point Beach Cottages (White Plains and Nimitz beaches, Kalaeloa)

Navy-run beach cottages on Oʻahu's southwest shore at Kalaeloa (Barbers Point): 24 one- to three-bedroom cottages, most oceanfront, at White Plains Beach and Nimitz Beach. Stays are 2 to 14 nights; book through Navy Getaways.

• Cottages: 24 units (20 oceanfront, 4 partial ocean view), 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, at White Plains Beach and Nimitz Beach and Cove, inside a gated area.
• Who can stay: military and DoD civilian sponsors and their sponsored guests; check with the front desk about veterans' eligibility. One cottage per sponsor ID (a sponsor and spouse may each book one).
• Book: 1-877-NAVY-BED or 808-682-3085, or bpcottagereservations@bpcottageitt.com. 2-night minimum, 14-night maximum; one night's deposit is charged 14 days before arrival. No pets.
• Location: Kalaeloa, near Kapolei, about 25 minutes from the airport. White Plains is a popular, gentle surf beach.
