Starting in 2027, the long-running Sony Open in Hawaii becomes the Sony Championship Hawaii on the PGA TOUR Champions (golfers 50 and over). It's the week of Jan. 11, 2027, at Waiʻalae Country Club in Kāhala, with a $3 million purse.

Week of Jan. 11, 2027, at Waiʻalae Country Club, Honolulu (Kāhala), which has hosted since 1965.
Tour: PGA TOUR Champions (age 50+), 78 players. Pro-am Tuesday and Wednesday, competition Thursday to Saturday.
It replaces the PGA TOUR's Sony Open in Hawaii.
Purse: $3 million; televised on Golf Channel.
Tickets and parking info are posted by the tournament each fall.
