Going to a UH football game: Ching Complex parking, bags and gates

UH sportsOʻahuChecked Oct. 29, 2026

UH football is played at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex on lower campus at Mānoa. Stadium gates open 2 hours before kickoff (parking 3 hours); there's a clear-bag rule (one clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches), no re-entry, and you need a printed football parking pass for campus lots.

  • Clear bag policy: one clear bag per person, no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". No other bags.
  • Not allowed: outside food and drink, reusable bottles, coolers, umbrellas, alcohol, noise makers, pets (service animals OK), strollers, seat backs. Seat cushions are fine.
  • Gates: lower campus parking opens 3 hours before kickoff; stadium gates open 2 hours before. No re-entry.
  • Parking: buy a football parking pass ahead for lower or upper campus lots (upper campus via Maile Way or East-West Road).
  • Rideshare drop-off: the bus turnaround off University Avenue near the Great Lawn.
  • Mobile tickets are encouraged; the UH ticket office opens 2 hours before kickoff.
  • Tickets: etickethawaii.com or the box office at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center (weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Schedules and times change; check hawaiiathletics.com.
